We have an immediate need to expand our -highly-talented, highly-trained- Generator/Microgrid Field Technician team. We are seeking top performers, from Preventive Maintenance to Senior Level talent, for ongoing maintenance and repair of Power Generation and distribution equipment and controls in many areas throughout the United States.
The PowerSecure Service team specializes in the service and installation of distributed power systems and microgrids including gas and diesel generators, transfer switches, distribution switchgear, paralleling switchgear, solar systems, energy storage systems, and microgrid control systems. As the largest service provider in our industry, we combine technical expertise with unparalleled resources to provide customers the assurance that their power assets are maintained in top operational condition.

Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of commercial/industrial experience performing preventive maintenance on 500+kW generators and engines
Mechanically and electrically inclined
Willing to take Generator Assessment
Operational and functional understanding of ATS/switchgear, including troubleshooting skills.
~25% Overnight travel (varies by location)
Willing to work on call and OT as required.
Able to pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screen.
Proficient using computers, including Microsoft Office and other software.
OEM Training, certification and/or EGSA certification a plus.
Generator Field Service Technician Physical DemandsTasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work. Physical Activity: 85% physical activity required on customer site working with equipment, 15% form completion, email, other administrative tasks and completing technical support activities by way of telephone and computer communication.
