Additionally, this role requires leading and supporting businessdevelopment efforts while providing strategic operational support that drivescustomer engagement. The SOM will have the business insight to interpretcustomer information and business requirements that lead to new contracts andrevenue streams that are effectively executed against. The SOM will beresponsible for monitoring metrics, meeting company and customerdeliverables and providing first level management for customer satisfaction.The SOM will be expected to build high performing teams that apply theirdiverse skills and perspectives to achieve customer and company goals.ResponsibilitiesAct as FTI interface to senior SSC EGS management and provide both technicaland programmatic support, guidance and status as required. This willrequire frequent travel to LA to support customer meetings at LA AFB.Work as P & L Lead for the Space Mission Ground Services program unitProvide current Financial year (FY) forecasting, tracking and reportinginto the Directorate and OG VP as required.Work future FY revenue plans as required along with support to Space programsGo To Market (GTM) strategy to meet OG goals.Provide strategic guidance on the future direction of EGS and other relatedECX ground technology/programs and ensure Operations Leadership,Technology and BD are briefed accordingly.Manage and coordinate EGS Phase 3 SBIR program deliverables including MonthlyStatus Reports, Program Management Review meetings, Schedule updates andSBIR tool introduction.Provide Functional Leadership for the Program Unit staff in Colorado Springsand EL Segundo.Work with Director of Space programs and/or FTI Business Development onidentifying new opportunities both within other SSC directorates as well asother Colorado Springs and/or El Segundo based aerospace companies.Leverage FTI Technology tools and solutions to enhance space strategysupporting modelling, decision support and life-cycle management capabilityfor both current and future programs.Perform competitive analysis, track industry trends, and maintainextensive knowledge of market conditions.Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintaina TS-SCI, or active TS or TS/SCI strongly preferredPrevious Air Force, Space Force and/or SSC active duty stronglypreferred; ideally at the 05/06 level.Education/QualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.10+ years Space Systems acquisition experience at SSC/SMC.15+ years Space Systems acquisition specializing in satellites, controland ground segment, communications systems.10+ years of Program Management and/or supervisory experience with atleast 2 years in a DoD environment.Experience in space system ground systems required. Any EGS stronglypreferred.Experience managing complex projects with both functional and geographicallydiverse teams while developing talent.Have multiple years of demonstrated experience as a P&L Lead, in themanagement and control of funds and resources using complex reportingmechanisms such as Earned Value Management.Knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal AcquisitionRegulations (FAR) and other appropriate polices.Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of varioustypes and complexity, as well as experience in leading a mul
