To meet customer's expectations and requirements by producing all parts requiring programming, complex tooling and setups while meeting or exceeding standards for quality, productivity and safety.
JOB DUTIES:
Plans own work to make efficient use of time and skills.
Inspects own work to established process.
Understand GD&T tolerances
Meets safety and good 5S practices.
Follow all quality procedures and achieve line of sight requirements while assisting others in achieving theirs.
Able to work within a team.
Sets a positive example for others by focusing on productivity, added value, through-put, and profits on all jobs.
Promotes continuous improvement within the department.
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance as requested.
Maximizes setups and tooling to present and future jobs.
Proficient at CNC programming, set up and run.
Ability to load a part into a machine, run the program, remove the part and inspect.
Able to meet quality inspections.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Good communication skills.
Performs other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Technical School graduate preferred or;
Minimum 4 years' of experience in similar machine shop setting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing 10 hours per day (out of 10 hour workday) but may work 10-12 hours per day.
Walk up to 2 hours per day
Bend, squat (to check parts) - occasionally

Reach out from body up to 24 inches holding up to 20 pounds - rarely
