Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist within the NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will maintain one or more completed systems, application or major enhancements. You will consults with sponsors. You will schedule and master scenario events list for system operational testing, integration testing, design and acceptance testing phases. You will conduct in-depth analysis of the customers and or sponsors request. You will ensure the design document is understandable and verifiable by the customer. You will develop proposed design approach and conducts walkthrough with user/ sponsors to validate agreements on approach You will provide information to the supervisor concerning their performance and potential morale or other problems. You will be responsible for the functional integration of the projects into all existing interfacing systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1.) Identifying system capabilities and specific requirements needed to support logistical and deployment/redeployment programs; 2.) Correlating system requirements with other services and agencies to ensure interoperability and compliance with transportation policy; 3.)Applying knowledge of the organization and force deployment and transportation processes to provide logistics support; and 4.)Analyzing, evaluating, and recommending logistics system solutions based on emerging technology in software and hardware.
