Overview
Audacy is seeking an ambitious, energetic, and outgoing professional to assist our Promotions + Experiences team in promotions, contesting and prize fulfillment in the NorCal Region (San Francisco and Sacramento), including but not limited to the following formats: Sports, Alternative, Top 40, Hot AC, News/Talk, Rock, Classic Rock, and more.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Assist with contest creation from concept to implementation, execution and closing
Coordinate and implement all station appearances including on-air personality booking and scheduling
Write broadcast and online contest copy
Create and send email blasts and other communications to listeners and partners
Enter contest, winner(s) and prize information into PromoSuite and administers winner paperwork
Work closely with Brand Managers and Promotions Directors to ensure stations positioning/branding is reflected in all marketing, imaging, promotions & digital media
Attend station events, as needed, to oversee and assist with set-up and visibility
Communicate weekly prize and contest information to station staff (sales and on-air)
Assist Regional Contest Director with requests for proposals i.e. concerts and events for on air, online or onsite prizing
Assist Regional Contest Director with tracking prizing
Reply to listener inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
Work directly with sales department to acquire all elements needed for sales promotions i.e. copy, prizes, all complete event information, etc.
Assist with promotional recaps
Attend station meetings as needed
Other marketing and promotions department duties as assigned by the Regional Promotions Director
Qualifications
More About You:
First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
Demonstrate great oral and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
Willing to work the occasional night or weekend
Required:
Strong computer skills with experience of the Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
General knowledge of social networking platforms
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires the use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
Preferred:
Experience using Google Workspaces is a plus
Knowledge of promotions software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting), Aptivada (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and PromoSuite (promotion management software) a plus.
Experience working with the general public is preferred
4-year degree in marketing preferred
