Overview

Core Payments is seeking a Senior Technology Product Analyst to contribute to the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of Money Movement products within the Core Payments portfolio including ACH, Wires, Cashier Checks, Western Union, and other integrated systems and applications. This role with collaborate with a variety of teams across the enterprise including architecture, product, platform, and business aligned to deliver on enterprise strategy and business initiatives.

This role requires a broad knowledge of money movement and payment products including Java, JavaEE, Microsoft Azure cloud, or similar cloud technologies including cloud networking, architecture, along with understanding of DevSecOPs and Agile product delivery model. This role requires strong technical leadership and close collaboration Technical Product Owner, senior engineers, business stakeholders, vendors, and various internal teams. Experience with larger financial institution or payment industry is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership in solution design, analysis, and strategies involved in modernization and migration of on-premises workloads to Azure cloud.

  • Develop and maintain documentation regarding architecture and design, process flows, configurations, operations, support and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Work closely with Technical Product Owner, Scrum Masters, Dev leads, and Business partners.

  • Prepare and present technical design specifications, requirements, and process flows using systems engineering best practices.

  • Create reports, and dashboards for analysis using Power BI, Excel, or Database Queries.

  • Maintain product backlog work items including features, stories, enablers, stories, tasks, bugs, etc.

  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members, helping them overcome challenges. This may involve troubleshooting complex technical issues, providing code refactoring suggestions, or offering design recommendations.

  • Research emerging technologies, tools, practices and recommend solutions that align with technology and business goals.

  • Contribute to incident and problem root cause analysis.

  • Follow agile methodology and best practices for modern cloud product development and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in leading product development and analysis at large multi-function organization, preferably at a large financial service organization.

  • Significant experience working as business analyst or development lead, or operations lead participating in various stages of product life cycle: development to end of life.

  • Significant experience in preparing and delivering presentations to leadership.

  • Experience and knowledge of software development practices including developing, testing, debugging, and implementing distributed applications and systems.

  • Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration & Delivery practices and tools.

  • Experience with private, public and hybrid cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, etc.), preferably Azure Cloud.

  • Working knowledge of API development and integration.

  • Experience in developing reporting metrics and dashboards that illustrate progress and value.

  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.

  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced skill in systems, workflow, and procedural analysis.

  • Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to resolve conflicting requests and quickly adapt to changing requirements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations.

  • Advanced knowledge of banking/financial industry trends, products, and services.

  • Advanced knowledge of payment products including ACH, Wires, and Core Banking.

  • Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
