Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an Air Monitoring Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a variety of routine remediation services primarily associated with the implementation of an air monitoring program in accordance with a Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP), and to include assisting with field oversight of the remedial construction, daily/weekly reporting, and analytical sampling.
This position will involve being based on an active construction site to provide support for task discussed above.
What You'll Be Doing:
Performs routine, and some non-routine tasks for remediation services.
Testing, calibrating, and modifying control and instrumentation systems at on-site locations. Assignments will be undertaken independently.
Assists in preparing required field and office reports of various activities and findings. May initiate basic reports.
Daily correspondence between project manager and the client.
Can follow monitoring protocols, take precise notes, complete field data entry associated with the daily air monitoring activities,
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
High School diploma, or equivalent
A minimum of 2+ years of experience air monitoring
Ability to work closely with various levels of personnel.
Good communication skills.
Completion of a 10-hour OSHA construction course is required. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER preferred.
Familiarity with fundamental tasks and testing techniques related to operations.
Ability to work in field environment: long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; lifting; recurring bending or similar activities.
Good Microsoft office skills

Salary Range:
$18.61 - $37.55
