Job Description:
Caterpillar's Global Construction and Infrastructure division is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant with a focus in experiential marketing and customer experience strategy.This role will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive and collaborative strategy focused on customer experience (virtual and physical). In addition, this role will support the strategy and implementation for Caterpillar customer events as well as drive engagement and strategy for dealer customer events. Top candidates will be creative, strategic, well organized and have strong communication skills.
R esponsib ilities for the Experiential / Customer Experience Marketing Communications Strategy in North America include:
Experiential initiatives for dealer events and New Product Introductions (NPI).
Customer Experience activities for lead generation, sales conversion, and services growth.
Innovative marketing communication strategy for product / technology / services promotion via physical & virtual customer experience including major tradeshows and events.
In support of experiential initiatives including dealer event strategy, you can expect to:
Develop regional physical / virtual event plans, budget management, campaign development, and dealer engagement.
Understand and leverage key customer experience marketing strategies such as communication strategy, contents strategy, lead generation, branding, marketing analytics, positioning, media optimization for each experiential initiative.
Support and develop dealers marketing teams around the Americas regions who will ultimately execute marketing plan and physical / virtual event strategies.
In support of the innovative marketing communication strategy (including major tradeshows) you will:
Lead the development and execution of content strategies and design end to end tradeshow experience / customer journey strategies for the key Business Units across Construction Industries.
Manage internal & external agency relations including budget.
Customer segmentation includes industries such as road construction, quarry & aggregates, general construction.
Support strategic direction bringing product, technology, and services together.

What You Have
Bachelor's degree
8+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles
Large scale event management / tradeshow experience
Extensive experience in program and/or project management (leading multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously)
Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to executive level
