Waste Connections is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Alamogordo, NM!
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to interact with varying levels of employees and vendors, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to provide support in accounting, dispatching, and customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:
Processes vendor invoices and check requests
Reconcile vendor statements to vendor balances.
Respond to inquiries and makes calls regarding billing problems.
Maintain the Purchase Order Log.
Verify and reconcile p-card transactions.
Work with managers on inventory management and purchasing.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team setting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3+ year of Accounts Payable experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word is a must).
10-Key knowledge and skills
High school diploma or equivalent
