Description:
As the Senior Manager, Finance in the Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPS) business, you will have the opportunity to develop essential business information and financial analysis supporting two facilities within the LEPS business (Caterpillar Switchgear and Americas Solutions). This position provides counsel to management for all business planning, management reporting, legal entity, product costing, decision support, manufacturing footprint & product strategies and must work across highly diverse and global teams to deliver insights to drive the business forward. This position has the opportunity to interact and present to senior level management on topics that will impact the strategy and future direction of the facilities.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Managing monthly financial reporting & analysis for the two facilities
Leading the development of the two facilities financial forecasts
Providing leadership and guidance for product cost reporting & analysis; operational cost reporting & analysis; and capital spend requests and investment analysis
Ensuring high integrity financial reporting through maintaining a strong control environment
Participating in strategy development to drive improved financial and operational performance
Developing the best team through coaching, training & development, and career planning
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with an Accounting or Finance related concentration
At least 8-10 years of progressively responsible job-related experience
Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership
Ability to take an Enterprise point of view and lead with our Values in Action
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
Strong background in financial accounting, cost accounting, investment analysis, and budget development
Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed financial analysis and strategic plans
Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions
Strong communication skills
Prior leadership experience
Additional Details:
Location: Alpharetta GA, or Griffin, GA
Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify
Limited travel - mainly periodic travel between the two Atlanta area facilities
