Lead Logistics Clerk

This role is with KBR's GAM, Global Asset Management group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management.
The Lead Logistics Clerk will:
Maintain related records associated with receipts, movements and Kitting of Consumption of Materials.
Support the delivery of Final Buy Off Delivery schedules by Coordinating Personnel to Schedule dates and coverage, including Cross-Training of Personnel and Proper Finished Goods Material Handling procedures.
Support the daily site tier meeting delivery schedules in support of OTTR & Revenue Recognition Schedules.
Arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival, including receipts, record inductions into SAP, material inspector notifications, put-aways and inventory record updates.
Perform visual inspections to assure material receipts are received in an approved physical means and paperwork travelers are accurate and compliant to the customer requirements and specifications.
Support the Continuous Improvement of Standard Work Instructions and perform audits as a Lead on Logistical Clerk Personnel.
Will assist in orientating and cross-training logistical clerks in support of Defense and Government/Customer owned material inductions, inventories and records compliance.
Reconcile material and inventory variances, determine Root Cause And Preventive Actions, support Material Flow and Inventory Process Improvements, System Changes and issues to Relevant Users, Stakeholders and Management.
Support the Sites Functional Areas in preparing for Wall-to-Wall Physical Inventories.
Follow established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control procedures are adhered to.
Assist in conducting distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyze requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
Engage in the execution and follow up with Policies, Procedures and Material Control Systems.
Resolve material related problems by coordinating with Purchasing, Production and Engineering Groups.
Identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered, and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
Ability to work a rotational schedule including Saturdays as required per customer demands.
Take ownership of the accuracy of the prepared and presented information with a high level of attention to detail.
Resolve most questions and problems and communicate more complex issues to a higher level of support.

Must be able to Lead Project Teams within the business to meet Team Metrics, Cycle Counts and Wall-to-Wall Inventory requirements.
Must be well versed in Compliance Reporting Requirements and various audit types as applicable to the AS9100 and Material Management Accounting System.
Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the Material Team and other related Teams; works within broad Program/ Department/Section guidelines and policies.
Follow KBR Performance Excellence (KPEX) requirements, including the support of Voice of the Customer solicitations and follow-up on continuous improvement initiatives.
Must adhere to KBRs Zero Harm Safety Measures of Total Safety Technical Instructions (TSTI's) for Safety Adherence of Operational and Equipment usage.
Must be able to Generate and Preset Monthly Program Status overview on KPI's to Team and Leadership.
Must be able to work pro-actively in a Team Environment.
Must be familiar with the Managing and Compliance requirements associated with government & customer owned units being returned for induction.
Follow KBR Performance Excellence (KPEX) requirements, including the support of Voice of the Customer solicitations and follow-up on continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 1 year of related experience.
Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point.
Must be very proficient in working resolutions to Product Receipts & Inductions and the associated SAP Transaction Codes relating to Material Receipts, Material Kitting Pulls, Inspection Notifications, and Material Issuance.
Must be a US Citizen.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Six Sigma, Lean and/or Green Belt Certification.
SAP and Asset Tracking Database Knowledge.
