Position Description
Serco, Inc. is seeking a Internal Auditor to join their team. In this role you will perform audits over customer contracts or corporate functions for compliance with customer contracts, company policies & procedures, government guidelines, and laws & regulations. Identifies control gaps, improvements, or improper practices/activities, and researches issues and makes recommendations to improve processes accordingly. Will document workpapers and results of audit procedures in the Company's audit software. May perform data analytics as part of audit procedures, as well as data visualization of audit results.

In this role you will:
Finance (Accounting, Financial management, and a variety of financial processes)
Operational (Contract Compliance, Internal Contract Performance Management, Stakeholder Management)
People (Employee Lifecycle and various HR processes)
Risk Management (Risk Identification, Assessment & Mitigation; Business Continuity Management)
May audit other areas at a level not requiring technical subject matter expertise (Health & Safety, IT Operations, Information Security, Materials/Inventory processes)
Audits over a variety of Corporate Functions or cross-functional processes
You will assist in drafting language for inclusion in audit reports. May assist in Serco Global Internal Audit Strategy initiatives. Will be heavily involved in the follow-up and closure process over audit findings and actions from previously issued audit reports.
Capable of leading an audit on a day-to-day basis as needed and capable of directing the work of others on a project basis, if needed. May report to an executive or a manager.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of complex tasks and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree
4 years of relevant experience (External Audit, Internal Audit or similar).
U.S. Citizenship.
Strong Microsoft excel experience
Willing to travel up to 10%.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Active Passport
Data Analytics experience using various tools and/or MS Excel
Work experience with a Government Contractor
Experience with TeamMate or similar Audit Software
CPA, CIA, or CFE
