Job Title: Truck Driver LightiCIMS ID:2022-5037# Positions: 1Hire Type:Full-TimeWork Days:Monday - Friday, Other, Other Days:Weekend hours may be requiredWork Shift:1 First shift, Other Shifts:Evening/Night hours may be requiredLocation:VDOT Colonial Heights2400 Pine Forest DrColonial Heights,VA23834DescriptionOverview:The Truck Driver Light will address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for VDOT sites, and assist with inventory control.Responsibilities:Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:Attention to detailMeet and greet customersReview supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)Answer questions regarding availability of partsAsk appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and providedInform customers when requested parts are availableOperate a forkliftReview, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group Catalog.Review, familiarize with, and adhere to Policy and Procedures Manual.Review, familiarize with, and MANCONs SOPs and Safety Manual.Parts Pick upDrive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up partsProvide company documentation to vendors as required (tax exempt form, credit references)Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantitiesReturn products to MANCON location in a timely fashionData Entry RequirementsAssist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory systemAssist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemInventory Management RequirementsAssist in physically receiving vendor ordersAssist in performing weekly inventory cycle countsAssist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at siteOther RequirementsFollow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenanceProvide 24 hour support at the VDOT location during emergenciesAssist with inventory research projects as requestedAdhere to required proceduresAssist Store Supervisor as assignedParticipate in the SCM continuing training programRequired Qualifications:24-hour availabilityValid Drivers License with two years driving experienceObtain and maintain a forklift licensePreferred Qualifications:- Delivery Driver experience- Auto and/or heavy duty truck parts experience- Inventory experience- P1 or P2 ASE certification- Current COVID-19 vaccinePhysical Requirements:Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical Requirement Details:Work is performed in storerooms and warehouses which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions.
