As the DoD Analyst (Mid), you will be part of a dynamic team supporting major systems acquisition, research, and engineering on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) located in Arlington (Crystal City), Virginia (Hybrid Schedule) . This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your DoD Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
Serco supports the OSD with engineering and program management which involves providing regional and global planning support to maximize strategic alignment of OSD and Defense Agency capabilities against the needs of the current operating environment. This includes planning, exercises, doctrine, strategy, and opportunity analysis, Combatant Commands (CCMD), and other DoD components, in coordination with interagency and international partners, while enhancing mission readiness through collective staff training.
You will be part of a team responsible for highly consequential engagements with stakeholders impacting national security and the defense capabilities of the United States. You will collaborate closely with customers and other Serco teams to deliver quality solutions recognized by DoD and industry as outstanding contributions in engineering program and risk management across the Defense enterprise.

In this role, you will:
Review and provide substantive comments on DoD doctrine/guidance and requirements
Apply operational insights and user perspective to receive, analyze, validate, and assign responsibility for new requirements and track previously validated requirements; coordinate and validate with internal and/or external stakeholders, by analyzing those requirements against plans, guidance, and Government priorities
Utilize methodology to validate requirements via a standardized process
Ensure the quality of the program, project or task deliverable meets the established standards or metrics, brief and lead requirement team
Analyze proposed requirements related to operations, systems or management changes and the impacts of changes using knowledge of Agency requirements/priorities
Interpret policies and procedures related to change requirements
Prepare reports and documentation related to options and to change evaluations
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A U.S. citizenship
An active DoD Top-Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
A Bachelor's of Science degree and 3 years of related experience
To be knowledgeable of military requirements supporting major initiatives; tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.
To demonstrate an excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills and have a strong command of the English language.
A reliable transportation to the Customer Site (upon customer approval a part-time remote/hybrid schedule may be offered)
The ability to travel 10%
