GENERAL SUMMARY
The Case Manager - CAC is responsible for assessing the needs, evaluating the circumstances, and determining the services for referrals from a child maltreatment perspective. Reports to the Executive Director of CAC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains appropriate referral information and assigned cases.
Coordinates with multidisciplinary team members, reviewing clinical and psychological evaluations.
Distributes finalized reports to referral sources and contributes to clinical staff meetings from a maltreatment perspective.
Performs other duties as assigned.

None required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Professional knowledge of area of responsibility in order to direct planning and implementation of individualized service plan for eligible children with special health care needs at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field.
Approximately two to three years of progressively more responsible related work experience.
Must be able to plan, manage and establish a professional working environment within areas of responsibility.
Must possess the ability to identify problems and implement solutions for operational and organizational issues.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with other professionals.
Competence in use of personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
Knowledge of utilization review processes necessary.
Increased Security Clearance Required for Job Roles in Medical Tower II: FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, and Child Protective Services registry search.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
