Description:
We have an exciting position open as a Senior Accounting Analyst ( internally known as Staff Accountant II) within Caterpillar as the Cost/Decision Support role within the Large Power Systems Division in Mapleton, Illinois. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop essential business information and compile key financial data used for cost reporting.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Cost System Maintenance
Normals and Machine Rate development
Abnormals Identification & Reporting
Component Cost monitoring & Analysis
Standard and Current Cost Grief Resolution
Standard Cost Setting and Analysis
Basic Requirements:
4-year degree in accounting
Must have proven record of strong initiative, leadership, accountability and effective communication skills
2+ years of accounting experience
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
Large Engine experience or Engine Facility experience
Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed financial analysis and strategic plans
Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership
Experience with Standard Cost/Normals Process
