We are looking for a self motivated, experienced Equipment Operator to join the team at Cypress Creek Landfill in Tuscaloosa, Alabama . Previous landfill, transfer station, or waste experience would be a huge plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
SCHEDULE:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed
Perform general labor duties around Landfill
Assist with landscaping duties
Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor
Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
Excavating soil using a excavator
Maintaining haul roads using a grader
Hauling soil
Work in a fast paced, team environment
Follow safe operating practices
Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
5-10 years of experience running an ADT, excavator, dozer, and/or a 826 compactor.
Experience final grading.
Experience in a landfill, transfer station, or waste experience preferred.
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to be self directed as well as work in a team environment.
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
