What you'll do here:
Do you have a passion for helping others? As a member of our team, you will be responsible for driving Workforce Development efforts in an assigned region on behalf of ed2go's Academic Partner network. Your focus will be on securing third party funding opportunities to help support students on their Education to Employment journey through our Academic Partners. Collaborating with the Account Management team at ed2go you will support expansion of partner relationships with organizations involved in workforce development strategies. These can include Local, Regional and State Workforce Boards, State and local Economic Development Agencies, Workforce Services providers, non-profits, Human Services agencies, Military bases, Intermediaries, Foundations, and employers involved in training and up-skilling their clients.
You will build connections with decision makers, represent and endorse ed2go solutions to partners and agencies, and provide post-sales support as needed to ensure successful student outcomes. In addition, you will provide insights to our Product and Marketing teams on trends and opportunities for ed2go to better serve the workforce ecosystem.
Plan, organize, and prioritize a regional Workforce strategy to achieve aggressive growth goals.
Work with our existing partners to expand their impact with a variety of funding resources in their communities.
Build strategic plans for high value opportunities, solving partner concerns with our comprehensive solutions and offerings.
Connect with other functional departments and teams to reliably resolve partner needs as well as leading projects and initiatives focused on improving efficiency and productivity for the role and larger organization.
Use Consultative Selling Skills framework to build lasting relationships with key partners
Skills you will need here:
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred, or equivalent experience
A minimum of two (2) years of proven sales success achieving revenue goals, preferably in Higher Education or Workforce Development sectors.
Three plus (3+) years of experience in the Workforce Development arena, such as an American Job Center, Workforce Investment Board or other Federal or State or non-profit workforce agency
Deep knowledge of workforce, military, and grant funding models.
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multiple projects with multiple due dates simultaneously in a remote setting.
Self-starter, extraordinary teammate, critical problem solver, can do demeanor.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Excellent time management and online research skills.
Proficient digital literacy- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Tableau
Problem solver with effective persuasion skills
Ability to travel up to 25%

Base Pay Range
The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
$63,800.00 - $102,100.00 USD
