Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will identify productivity efficiencies and improve processes through the use of Lean Six Sigma tools/methods and participates in the initiation, oversight, and organization of projects and initiatives. You will assist the director with overseeing and coordinating the NAVSUP WSS Strategic Planning Sessions and Executive Planning Sessions. You will perform as the Project Manager/Black Belt L6S Project Team Leader in the planning, progress and completion of technically challenging Performance Improvement efforts and/or L6S projects that are of significant value. You will gather, analyze, and provide performance metrics to the Director, provides process and value stream mapping, visual display, simulations, pilots, and process flow analysis. You will research and analyze program/issues to determine their potential for meeting organizational standards and business needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications At the GS-13 grade level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public performing the following duties: 1) Planning and completing technically challenging Lean Six Sigma projects that improve the overall efficacy of business projects; 2) Utilizing analytical tools such as Visual Management, 5S, Standard Work Development and Deployment, and Benchmarking to develop a sustained focus on continuous performance improvement (CPI); 3) Coordinating across inter-governmental organizations to promote CPI strategies; and 4) Reporting tangible cost benefits and return on investment results gained from implementation of these processes.
