Job Summary:

Responsibilities including the day-to-day management and growth of the Real Estate sales channel. Position will also support for the marketing needs of Retail Partnerships and Channel Development efforts in Mass Market retail natural gas portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

Functional Expertise:

  • Responsible for growing the mover/real estate related channel by increasing and maximizing the number of participants, and volume of referrals resulting in new acquisitions. Recommending, then implementing approved strategy to achieve this goal

  • Provide support for the marketing needs of Retail Partnerships and Channel Development efforts in Mass Market retail natural gas portfolio

  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction and strengthening business relationships through various marketing and sales efforts, recommending, and providing solutions that fit the customer needs

  • Provide day to day program management of assigned sales channel. Ability to clearly communicate objectives and coordinate all aspects of integrated campaigns on deadline. Includes budgeting, downstream impact, and accurate reporting

  • Responsible all web-based program administration for approving and onboarding new clients

  • Work with agencies and vendors to dovetail existing brand messaging to promote program awareness and promotions

  • Provide analysis and subsequent recommendations to ensure overall business objectives, goals and KPIs are met. May assist in other existing or new third-party sales channel efforts as needed

Business Acumen:

  • Deep knowledge of the overall business and ability to think ahead of possible obstacles and challenges while recommending acquisition strategy

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data in order to identify opportunities, recommend appropriate solutions or problem solve

  • Required to engage in face-to-face sales activities

  • Able to document process flow and outline program guidelines to align with business rules

  • Ability to think ahead of possible obstacles and challenges while developing cohesive strategy

Engagement:

  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally with internal management, cross departments, customers, agencies, and vendors

Driving Results:

  • Provide ad hoc reporting for program performance, campaign effectiveness, ROI profitability, CPA and other data support as needed which may include obtaining cost estimates, establishing program objectives, and estimating revenue and number of new customers added

  • Able to clearly understand operations processes, call center support, billing, and reporting systems in order for programs and promotions to be communicated and run smoothly

  • Coordinate development, fulfillment, and distribution of sales collateral, newsletters, promotional items, and training materials for agencies, operations, call centers and other direct sales support. Provides support for direct sales effort and on-site customer training

Education, Certifications/Licenses:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or seven years progressive experience in program management

Related Work Experience:

Required:

  • 5 years of experience in program management or account management.

    • Utility and/or Real Estate a plus.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a channel or program development for retail or deregulated company

  • Experience managing affinity programs and/or loyalty programs

  • Group sales or Association sales experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing affiliate marketing programs or digital/mobile marketing

  • Experience with social media, blogging or creating online communities

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

Required:

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

  • Experienced in preparing marketing budgets, forecasts and variance explanations

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Works well under pressure and have excellent listening and communication skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Problem solving skills: ability to listen, identify the root cause, offer appropriate recommendations, and determine the best resolution.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects for several clients in a timely and well-organized fashion.

Preferred:

  • Proficient with MS-Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Some experience with MS-Access or Oracle SQL

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Hybrid work environment, in the office/on-site 2 - 3 days per week, and subject to change as needed

  • Travel required (~30% travel)

  • Must be able to travel to customer location with personal vehicle

  • Physical requirements minimal
