Here, you will make an impact by:Leading manufacturing cost, product yield, and quality improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Stream methodologies.Leading local management of change projects with focus on communication, risk evaluation, and execution of process and product changes.Supporting rapid resolution of customer complaints; including timely response, and implementation and communication of corrective actions.Performing capability assessments for new opportunities.Creating and maintain product/process documentation, including product/process specifications and test methods.Working with plant, division, and other internal and external resources as needed to accomplish objectives.Ability to cover nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary, to support 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year continuous manufacturing.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university or will have within the next six (6) monthsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role, but are not required include:Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing engineering, process engineering, product engineering, and/or product development.Experience on quality improvement and cost reduction projects.Experience on working in a manufacturing environment.Experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving.Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills to manage different priorities.#IND3MTravel: May include up to [10%] [domestic/international]Relocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
