Job Role and Responsibilities:
The Sales Operations Manager, Global Cloud Sales Operations position will be focused on supporting the Hyperscaler Cloud Sales team. The person will report to the Director of Global Cloud Sales Ops and will be responsible for sales operation support of Hyperscaler Cloud Sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting.
Operational responsibility for the Cloud Sales pipeline, forecast and reporting, including:
Monitor, maintain hygiene and report on cloud opportunity pipeline
Drive forecasting consolidation and independent analysis
Provide performance reporting and analysis, including Quarterly Business Review content
Identify, measure and report on key performance indicators
Assist in driving strategy and implementation of operational process improvements, both independently and as part of global/regional process teams
Assist in integrating into VMWare's existing processes
Contribute toward the Business Planning Process
Assist sales management with ad-hoc reporting and dashboard creation requests to support strategic and tactical initiatives.
Work with the Hyperscaler partners and Aggregators to reconcile monthly Hyperscaler consumption reporting.
Required Skills:
BA/BS required
Minimum - 3 to 5 years of experience in Business/Sales Operations in a fast-paced high-tech organization
Experience with Subscription and SaaS product offerings
Experience in supporting Enterprise and Commercial customer engagement models
Exceptional analytical skills
Confidence in working with onsite and remote teams across time zones in a highly collaborative manner
Experience with a variety of tools including Salesforce, Blueworks, and high proficiency in Excel
Project management experience
Ability to interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from individual contributor to VP-level executives
Solution-oriented focus with positive attitude, always focused on presenting options to our internal customers to overcome obstacles
Proven ability to build relationships and trust with cross-functional teams and organizations
