The primary responsibilities of this position will include working in a team environment to provide support in assisting with recruitment, on-boarding, recruitment tracking, and special projects. The special projects will provide exposure to current issues facing our HR team and/or business unit. Professional development and networking opportunities will be built in to the internship as well as the opportunity to be mentored by your peers, teammates, and senior leaders. This internship will allow an individual to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to real-world Human Resources experiences.
What you will do:
Create a standardized job description template.
Assist with pre-onboarding processes for new hires.
Assist with building a competitive recruiting strategy and sourcing pipeline to attract top and diverse talent.
Participate in special 80/20 projects working with the HR team and other business units.
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related degree from an accredited university.
Willingness to put forth the effort required to get the job done, while upholding high ethical standards. Must work well with others in a team environment.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work alone and with others to develop new concepts and solve problems.
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing, a Human Resources degree
Proficiency in Microsoft office
Good Communication skills both written and oral
Must be hands on
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
