Overview
The TDP Operations, Product and Support (TOPS) team partners with Transaction and Document Processing (TDP) operational branches to deliver efficient and scalable business outcomes through product lifecycle management. The team is responsible for managing business demand intake, backlogs, and the creation and maintenance of portfolio, product, and solution roadmaps. They drive full lifecycle project implementation through agile delivery methods across the TDP product portfolio. Additional functions of the TOPS team include: supporting Enterprise-wide initiatives, leading small division-wide efforts, soliciting requirements and user stories, designing and conducting business unit system testing, and liaising with ISD, vendors, and the TDP branches for production system issue resolution.
The Summer Associate will work in a flexible hybrid schedule and report to a lead analyst at our Greater Pensacola Operations (GPO) campus. They will assist the TOPS team to meet 2024 objectives and deliver planned initiatives while developing strong analytic, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
Potential Project 1: On - Call Playbooks
Analyze recent and commonly occurring production system incidents
Organize, update, and create resolution steps for identified incidents
Create knowledge-based articles within ServiceNow that can be linked to incidents for quick research and resolution of future incidents
Draft playbooks to be used by on-call analysts, ISD and Vendor support to reduce resolution time and reliance on subject matter expertise
Potential Project 2: System Mapping and Documentation
Identification of production systems utilized by the Division
Review/Update/Create process maps and system mapping
Review/Update/Create UAT Testing Strategy documentation
Review/Update/Create project documentation
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2024 and ending in August 2024. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2024 or later.
Responsibilities
Analyze, define, and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface(s) with other systems, internal and external controls, and output
Develop and present proposal on findings from analysis and research to leadership up to and including senior executives
Develop processes and workflows and provide related documentation
Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
Maintain professionalism in all interactions
Develop test plans, test criteria, scenarios, and documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or other related degree
Effective ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow(s)
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions
Ability to adapt to new technologies
Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Familiarity of Azure DevOps (ADO) and ServiceNow
Familiarity of Agile methodologies and Product Lifecycle Management is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and SharePoint
