The Rental Customer Consultant in Caterpillar's Rental & Used Division is responsible for focusing on driving sustainable growth through deep understanding of
our customers and dealers by defining and providing exceptional support of processes and tools.
What You Will Do:
Conducts rental customer growth analysis to drive new customer activation with Caterpillar dealers
Supports the Rental National Account customer strategy for Caterpillar's Rental & Used division.
Maintains third party relationships and governance of customer service tools.
Collaborate with dealership personnel on Rental National Account support of tools and services.
Execute and monitor digital entablements of the Rental National Accounts program that support rental revenue growth.
Defines and implements an -always-on- approach to gathering customer and dealer feedback to support customer growth
Actively stays in-tune with the competitive Rental & Used landscape and leverages competitive intel and deep customer understanding to further drive growth.
What You Will Have:

Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Preferred Location: Dallas, Texas
Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week of onsite, in office work.
Travel: 25%, domestic and international
