Overview

The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for leading all developer and cloud security tools and projects. This individual will assist with the support and maintenance of current technologies as needed, while primarily guiding the development of new cloud security capabilities and solutions.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Maintainan organizational DevSecOps program, encompassing all developer and related engineering teams and activities.

  • Work closely with the SecOps and CSIRT teams on technical projects that further enhance the organizational threat detection and risk mitigation program.

  • Oversee and report on all cloud vulnerability management tools, processes, and remediation efforts.

  • Assist SecOps and individual CSIRT teams with Incident Response and forensic activities as needed.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required:

  • Individual should have 3-5 years' direct experience applying AWS and/or GCP security capabilities and best practices, and..

  • Have experience with developer tools, workflows, and basic DevSecOps practices.

  • Have experiencewithSAST and DAST workflows, preferably within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Have experience with Terraform and Cloud Formation IaC, and adept at YAML syntax.

  • Be familiar with basic cloud posture assessment and threat mitigation technologies.

  • Be familiar with general EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, and cloud data forensics tools and processes.Experiencewith AzureSentineland KQLis an added benefit.

  • General understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, container images, and container security concepts.

Preferred:

  • BS in Computer Science or other related disciplines

  • AWS Certified Security Specialyand/or equivalent
