Job Description:
Will physically support 4 local L3Harris buildings: JROC, A&E, University and Massri facilities weekday overnights. Provide oversight, direction and training to contract security staff on duty. Respond to Secure Lab alarms, Intrusion alarms and emergencies. Help manage response to 23 remote Domestic/International TCOM CS and TCOM PSPC facility sites on access control issues, intrusion alarms and emergencies during off hours. Complete daily employee international travel report outs to leadership. Conduct DOD interior walking tours. Support Industrial Security team on NISPOM and DOD compliance requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct support and assistance with access control, visitor management, asset movement, and the day-to-day execution of the personnel security program, meeting NISPOM requirements, SOC activities, and the general security of the Rochester facilities.
- Maintains DOD records, NDAs, PQS booklets and security metrics.
- Assists in the creation of content related to overall security awareness, training, and education program.
- Recognizes improvement opportunities and makes changes to processes to improve efficiency and to provide a better level of service to security customers.
- Advise employees, contractors and management on security policies and procedures and enforce security protocols and procedures.
- Conducts interior walking tours and reports safety and security findings.
- Respond to emergencies, intrusion alarms and secure lab alarms.
- Spot check and train contract security officers on post orders and policies
- Provide incident reports, shift reports and training reports
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
- 2+ years of experience in the customer service field
- 2+ years of experience in a Supervisory position
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with a Continental access control system.
- 2+ years of experience with Salient CCTV surveillance.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and Share Point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with NAPCO
- Proficient with XL 200 handheld radios
- Proficient with Alert Media
- CPR/AED certified
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $37,500 - $69,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
