The Role: To provide quality repair service and technical support to YSI's customers while striving to add customer value by meeting established customer service levels.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair YSI product

  • Provide information to customers regarding repair status and quotations.

  • Provide Technical Support

  • Contact customer with evaluation information and to obtain authorization for repair.

  • Enter Service and warranty data into computer system.

  • Phone back up for Repair assistant.

  • Develop product test documentation.

  • Product quality, marketing and market intelligence information is to be shared with appropriate team members.

  • Follow established processes for procuring and rejecting material

  • Submit Cases through Sales Force

  • Provide accurate and timely pricing and order status information to customers.

  • Complete material transactions and ordering parts as required

  • Provide repair service to customer products

  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Previous customer service or repair service experience preferred.

  • Must have working knowledge of PC's and PC software.

  • Associates degree in EET or equivalent experience to the level of knowing how to use basic electronic test equipment and basic troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to keyboard 25% percent of the time and to remain seated for extended periods

  • Must be customer service oriented.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with high level of accuracy and efficiency

  • Solution oriented, problem solver, action oriented
