Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will supervise requisitioning, acquisition, receipt, storage, issue, and distribution of supported customer equipment and material. You will manage an inventory with variable annual funding. You will be responsible for storage and Warehousing functions for both general purpose supplies, aviations, shipboard and constructions forces support items. You will oversees the collection of Hazardous Material operations and usage data; Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports utilizing N-ERP, Material Management Tool-MB51 (MS Access), and various website/programs. You will be responsible for all aspects of Traffic Management functions within their applicable Site and must have in-depth knowledge of Joint transportation policies, regulations, instructions, operating practices of commercial carriers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: demonstrating an extensive knowledge of technical supply functions encompassing minor property management, inventory management, fuel distribution facilities, hazardous material management, warehousing, storage management, quality assurance/control, transportation, procurement, contracting and/or aviation support and maintenance functions. I have the experience leading or managing other personnel in duties as it relates to carrying out functions of a supply management program. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Planning and executing of funding for financial allocations, phasing plans, execution plans, staffing plans, statistical reporting and activity reports covering any number of the following: Storage and warehousing functions for general purpose supplies including aviation support items; Refueling/Defueling services for aircraft and ground support equipment; Physical Inventory Accuracy; Hazardous Material Management; 2) Collaborating with other regional counterparts as required and applies experience, judgment and innovation in the direction, coordination, and administration of daily logistics and supply systems operations; establishes goals and objectives for the department based on government wide and/or activity policy and ensures goals are communicated, understood and achieved; 3) Preparing budget forecasting/input for the department operating budget; 4) Leading or managing requisitioning, acquisition, receipt, storage, issue, and distribution of supported customer equipment and material; 5) Analyzing metrics and operations independently and resolves difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day operational procedures..
