Job Description:
As a Marketing Consultant for Caterpillar's Building Construction Products (BCP) division, you will focus on product marketing including new product introductions through digital campaigns. You will act as a resource for our sales reps as they promote products to dealers and work closely with our product groups on machine roll outs. All campaigns and initiatives developed will connect back to BCP's overarching business and marketing goals.
Job Duties :
Support the Growth of product sales by increasing participation through lead generation utilizing national and segmented marketing (advertising) campaigns
Oversee the North American awareness, lead management and marketing campaign strategy for products and attachmentsensuring the right content is provided to the customer at the different levels of the buyer's journey, before and after purchase
Create marketing content and materials for use in external marketing and promotions communicating clearly with internal partners and with dealers
Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) go-to-market initiatives including project management, digital marketing efforts, event planning/support, and overall marketing strategy
Support team and internal partners with recommendations and guidance on marketing campaign projects. Ensure robust process for measurement, and support improvements based on those metrics.
Have basic project management of marketing agency relationships and strategic projects
Work with internal Caterpillar teams to manage BCP (Building Construction Products) technology go-to-market efforts ensuring alignment with all external promotions and campaigns
Create and track compelling digital marketing campaigns that enhance coverage efforts, bring market awareness, and grow qualified leads
Collaborate with other team members in the marketing team, global brand team, and product teams across the organization
Suggest and implement new features and ideas that drive awareness and actions from target customers
Support BCP Tradeshows as needed
Ensure that BCP marketing communications maintain state-of-the-art communication production techniques and products while reducing cost
Establish cost and budget targets to be followed through
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeor equivalent years of professional experience
6+ years of marketing,sales support or product experience
Experience with digital marketing campaigns, content marketing,managing strategic marketing agencies & budget management
Travel up to 25% of the time
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Experience leading and developing marketing campaign strategies
Experience marketing through media platforms
Thorough knowledge of awareness marketing, customer personas, and lead generation/management strategies
Track record of building relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills, ability to influence a variety of business partners, peers, and customers
Experience leveraging data to drive decision making, strategy development and tactical execution
Excellent organization, analytical, and project management skills
Understanding of how the dealer network functions
Familiarity with Caterpillar products and solutions, including machines connected to the retail customer segment

Additional locations: Chicago or Peoria, IL; Dallas, TX; Nashville, TN
Other Caterpillar corporate facilities will be considered; however, fully remote work is not available for this role
