You are on top of all of the latest sports news, and are constantly looking for engaging local and national content.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Responsible for managing the operational needs of Audacy's sports podcast studio, 2400Sports
Work collaboratively to scale 2400Sports podcast content through various teams within Audacy, including but not limited to leaders inmarketing, sales, product, finance, engineering, IT, programming, social and editorial
Ensure all production, communication and reporting across the sports team is optimized for quality, platform distribution and speed to market
Develop and execute an overarching talent acquisition strategy for both on-air talent and podcast producers
Continued commitment to staff and talent development to maximize their skills/assets
Ideate and develop new show concepts to ensure the network exceeds its audience growth goals
Work closely with Audacy's local and national sales teams to develop and deliver on client KPIs and ensure 2400 shows are properly integrating sales elements and reporting
Oversee sponsor vetting requests on behalf of show-talent
Manage all operations onboarding of new shows or seasons
Solicit and vet pitches from internal brands or talent and external talent or agencies
Collaborate with Audacy's sports markets to develop and integrate marketing strategies to grow total audience
Lead day-to-day management of podcast operating budgets
Work collaboratively with the production manager to ensure audience and revenue targets are being met
Supervise production manager role to effectively operate and run production operations for 2400Sports
Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience
5+ years of total work experience in managerial roles in sports media
Proficient in Megaphone, Omny or interchangeable podcast publishing platforms
Understanding of the podcasting and sports audio landscape
Ability to proficiently manage a budget
Experience with talent, editorial and production management
Superb organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management
Highly adept and proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or other similar applications
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
Ability to efficiently work independently, while having a knack for leading a collaborative process
Capacity to multitask
