Program Manager - Waterfront/Maritime Modernization - San Diego, CA
Serco is seeking to bring on an experienced Waterfront/Maritime Modernization Program Manager to lead various programs supporting US Naval and Military contracts. In this role, you will:
Responsible for managing operational and technical aspects of C4I waterfront/maritime project(s) and related task orders for GOVT customer(s) with revenue ranging from $3 - $15M.
Conduct cost management through continual cost control and review.
Provide planning and technical oversight of US Naval Activities in the maintenance and installation of communication systems.
Provide expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues.
Requires advanced knowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functions. Typically manages a team of 20 or more employees.
Has business development and budgetary responsibilities.
Typically reports to a Program Manager or Director.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years' experience or 7 to 10 years' experience in leu of a degree.
US Citizen.
5+ years of Program Management experience working in a Defense based industry.
Must be strong leader with experience leading a team of a diverse trades workforce
Good understanding of government multiple award contracts environment (MAC)
Must be able to travel at least 10% domestically
Additional desired experience and skills:
Ability to acquire a Secret Clearance
Strong financial background in developing and managing budgets.
Strong analytical skills
Problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills with customers and team.
