TO Applications Analyst (Remote)

Work Location(s): Georgia Power Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA or Alabama Power Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL

JOB SUMMARY

*This role will be primarily remote but will require some in-office presence on an as needed basis*

The TO Application Analyst position will be part of the Marketing Portfolio, responsible for providing support to Marketing and Sales solutions across all operating companies. Position responsibilities include all aspects of production support, solution delivery, and managing customer relationships. The position will work with a variety of organizations which will require excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, time management, planning, and organizational skills. Strong analysis and problem-solving skills are critical. This position will support several applications across the Marketing Technology Portfolio.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related degree

Experience:

  • Experience with implementing, integrating and supporting technology solutions

  • Experience developing applications with Microsoft .Net, Java, and other platforms preferred

  • Ability to build relationships and work with all levels of management, vendors, and other internal and external groups

  • Experience participating on technology projects including multiple teams and/or business units.

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

  • Knowledge and understanding of software development technologies, methodology and associated tools

  • Knowledge of C# and the .NET framework preferred

  • Experience working with either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

  • Understanding of service-oriented architectures

  • Root cause analysis & problem-solving skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Effective consulting skills with proven ability to influence others

  • Builds productive relationships with a focus on cooperation & teamwork

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, integrate, and/or support technology solutions in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality, cost, and timeliness

  • Communicate effectively and timely with customers, team members, and management

  • Provide timely, consistent, effective production application support

  • Build effective relationships with peers, management, and customers

  • Ensure required documentation for projects is developed

  • Adhere to Change Management policies and procedures

  • Respond/Resolve quickly & effectively to all operational problems

  • Build effective relationships with peers, management, and customers

  • Displays Southern Style
