We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, detail oriented individual to join our team as a Master Data Manager - ERP. Primary responsibilities include ensuring all aspects of master data in our catalog is managed, maintained and coordinated through data owners in our divisions. The mission of this highly visible role is to support and maintain implemented data strategies as well as ensure the data integrity is at a very high standard supporting our customers needs as they interact with our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 data processes are clearly understood and executed. In addition, will be tasked with ensuring both cost and price records are kept up-to-date in the company's Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system.
Essential Functions:
Data Steward, enforcing policies and proper coding to item master and customer master files
Implement pricing strategy changes and short-term pricing actions
Ownership of the Flintfox pricing application
Maintain sales price records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system, abiding by customer specific contract and negotiated pricing, chain customer contract pricing, and pricing matrices
Collaborate with product managers, buyers, marketing, finance, and IT to ensure efficient and effective price adjustments
Ability to take initiative and develop a strong understanding of business functions and procedures is a critical aspect of this position
Utilizing business expertise to provide targeted analysis for recommendations to drive continuous improvement
Improve user efficiencies by studying current practices, designing modifications
Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
Provide self-service references for users by writing and maintaining administrative documentation
Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team to share information, resolve conflicts, and make decisions in all aspects of Information Technology and/or network operations
Ability to manipulate large data sets
Understand and learn data processing system design methods, techniques, and standards
Follows and implements data and database and data integrity procedures, strategies, guidelines, standards, support, and training
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting or related field
Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Experience with mass-uploading and bulk editing information in spreadsheets and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
Strong attention to detail and ability to detect data inconsistencies
Ability to work with a variety of technical tools including MS Access, pivot tables and/or SQL database utilities for breaking down and analyzing data
Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is desired
Strong math aptitude (rates, percentages, gross profit and margin, sales markup)
