Job Description: Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Essential Functions:
Part Marking PWBs
Printing and Inspecting Labels
Baking PWBs
Baking SMDs
Inducting/receiving new parts into MyCenter/MyLabel inventory tracking system
MES/FLX experience
Alloy verification with XRF testing for BTCs (bottom terminated components)
Part Count using x-ray
Laser etch part marking
Parts list/drawing rev verification
Stencil verification
Inventory Management (MyCenter/MyLabel)
Good oral and written communication
Qualifications:
High School / Secondary Education plus 8+ years of experience. 2 years post-secondary/AA-AS Degree plus 4+ years experience
