Primary Role
Development, evaluation, and implementation of a continuous process improvement program for Service department processes as well as interdepartmental processes that intersect with the Service Operations team.
*Note - this is a hybrid workplace role. A minimum of 2 days per week will be desired at the main office, more frequent than that during the training/onboarding period. Due to the nature of this role, we believe that face to face collaboration with service team members and members of other teams will be essential to the success of the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. *Other duties may be assigned.
Customer Service: Customer satisfaction is vital to the ongoing success of the Company's Service Business. Develop associates and implement/maintain the appropriate processes in Service so the following occur on a consistent basis:
Provide Damuth's 5-Star Experience. Our commitment is to have our clients feel understood, respected, valued, impressed and championed during every interaction.
Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term internal and external client relationships.
Strong emphasis on evaluating existing processes.
Actively garner feedback from other departments and looks at processes across service and sales teams.
Work with and through other leaders to identify, evaluate, and remedy process gaps or opportunities
Work closely with Service Team to provide assistance with any process questions/challenges, software issues within WennSoft/Great Plains and/or MobileTech.
Reviews work outputs of admin team members to identify issues, whether they be process or coaching opportunities.
Review various reports, billing journals, WIP reports, etc. to help identify areas of improvement.
Primary responsibility for training of admin team members while also coordinating cross training with other team members.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the 'book of knowledge' admin process manual.
Prepare WCAs (Work Change Authorizations) and Leads - Track and submit for review to Technicians via email. Provide information to payroll in a timely fashion for payments.
Update equipment information within Damuth software system, as needed. All changes completed with 48 hours of receipt.
Monitor all costs to ensure gross margin performance by all Service Teams
Work with I.T. team to establish workflows and associated processes.
Work with I.T. team to test, investigate and resolve anomalies in software upgrades.
Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company.
Improve your personal performance on a continual basis. Suggest training programs or other opportunities for improvement to your Team Leader as they apply.
Oversight:
Work with managers to help develop training plans for their administrative reports.
Participate in the delivery of the goals and objectives for the Company. Participate in annual planning process and semi-annual reviews.
Establish and maintain standards of performance in appropriate areas.
Cross-train in appropriate areas to avoid disruption of service for any reason.
Manage your time effectively.
Maintain clear and open communication with Service Operations Leader, Area Operations Leaders, and Service Team Leaders.
Review procedural changes with Service Operations Leader prior to implementation.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, field technicians, and supervisors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
