Logistics Analyst Journeyman
KBR is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team. As a part of one of the world's largest independent logistics organizations supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs.
As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting FMS logistics projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provides logistics support to the government by assisting with the development of pre-case, initial, and sustaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for FMS cases.
Responsible for the PMA-290 FMS Technical Directive Program (TD) and will ensure accurate and complete TD development supporting multiple FMS customers based on Engineering Chage Proposal (ECP) and effectivity.
Provide 100 percent accounting of TD's, effectivity by buno and country to include Service Letters, Service Bulletins, and Product notifications from the OEM.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the Foreign Disclosure Requirements List (FDRL).
Individual will act as the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Configuration Manager responsible for review of ECP's applicability to Specific P-8 FMS cases.
Responsible for reviewing PMA-290 FMS CM Policy, Process and Procedure document and provide government customer with accurate updates.
Work with FMS Case Managers and Deputy Assistant Program Manager Logistics(DAPML) for ECP applicability to specific FMS cases.
Develop Configuration Control Board (CCB) brief inputs related to affected FMS cases.
Develop TD kit lists, cost data and determine the best avenue for the procurement.
Draft FMS releasable ECP and authorization letters to FMS countries.
Utilize PMA-290 scheduled Maintenance projection tool to map the scheduled maintenance events based on aircraft delivery date.
Analyzes unique and vexing FMS logistic problem areas and recommends solutions.
Addresses issues of complexity and significance beyond generic logistics requirements and provides research, analysis, and recommendations to senior personnel.
Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic and international travel will be required in support of logistics activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Contract requirements-Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and greater than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
U.S. Secret Security Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance required.
Requires an Associate's degree from an accredited university or college plus two (2) years of work experience in a logistical, program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, or (b) four (4) years' experience working in a logistical, program management, technical, or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
USN Logs and Records experience desired.
Must be familiar with the 12 IPS elements which are: Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.
Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Must be able to travel as required for role.
Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
