Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Non-Commissioned Cabinet Designer. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!
Currently Starting at $25 + per hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
Drafting cabinet designs using 20/20 software to meet job specifications
Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information
Prepare job quotations and submittals
Continually enhance skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image and keep abreast of trends in design
Collaborate with other branch personnel to ensure phenomenal customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but prior experience in sales within our industry will be considered
2 to 4 years experience with interior design preferred
Drafting Experience
Knowledge of 20/20 or AutoCAD design software preferred
Prior experience in processing cabinet orders is a plus
House call and interior installation experience preferred
Extensive cabinetry product knowledge is a plus
Product and vendor knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
Possess technical and mechanical aptitude and ability to think outside the box to solve issues
Excellent written and verbal communication
Extensive cabinetry product knowledge
Possess a high level of attention to details
Outstanding problem solving, leadership, and listening skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
