Plans, develops, and provides high quality, effective wellness nutritional services, including: lectures, demonstrations, lunch and learns, and media presentations. Designs and implements program/service evaluation tools. Reviews program evaluations and redesigns services based on results.
Provides wellness counseling on health risk assessment and biometric screenings results. Provides patient instructions on appropriate practices to follow.
Investigates and assists in the implementation of nutritional wellness best practices.
Performs biometric screenings including: height, weight, waist/hip measurements, BMI, body composition, blood pressure and heel bone densitometry. Performs point-of-care testing including glucose and cholesterol screenings.
Serves as a role model for wellness by participating in employee wellness program activities and demonstrating positive health behaviors.
Provides wellness coaching, as trained.
Provides nutritional counseling to community members, employees, as well as contractual partners, on an as needed basis.
Performs other job duties, as assigned.
Education: Must have a Bachelor's Degree
Skills: Must be trained in CPR and First Aid, Public speaking skills,
Computer skills: competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
Years of Experience: One year of experience preferred.
License: Must be Licensed in the State of Ohio and maintain National Registration.
