Audacy is looking for an exceptional and motivated seller to join our high performance ad sales team in NY. The VP, Performance Ad Sales will be responsible for driving revenue across our podcast portfolio and vast digital audio platforms. As leaders in the digital space, we are looking for a digital trailblazer that challenges the process and thinks outside the box to provide the best solutions for our customers.
This candidate will need to have significant experience in performance ad sales, strong understanding of digital ad sales as well as an established network of agency and client relationships in the DTC community. The ideal candidate will be looking for an opportunity to drive our market share and deliver significant financial value as our podcast business accelerates its growth.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Grow podcast advertising revenue in DTC market, from both new and existing clients to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
Lead and cultivate client direct, agency and agency relationships to expand footprint and revenue
Set cadence of regular sales meetings to present the Audacy/C13 value proposition to agencies and clients, while gaining an understanding of client goals and KPIs
Respond proactively to all client requests and RFPs in a timely manner that moves the business forward
Take a consultative and strategic approach to selling Audacy/C13's portfolio of premium podcast network, digital platforms and high impact sponsorship opportunities
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
4+ years of advertising sales experience within Performance Ad Sales
Established network of client direct, agency and agency trading desk relationships
Proven track-record in prospecting new clients, generating sales leads and closing
Strong understanding of data-driven sales solutions, addressable targeting, advanced campaign measurement and attribution
Team player with the ability to multi-task effectively
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficient user of CRM tools such as Salesforce.com
