Summary You will serve as a Materials Handler at NAVSUP FLC Puget Sound (FLCPS). Responsibilities You will perform routine warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, and issuing and staging/kitting material (may handle hazardous and/or explosive materials). You will perform physical inventory counts and location audits to maintain inventory validity. You will mark material packaging or label material for proper identification, and take appropriate action for special categories of materials, such as Level I, Depot Level Repairables, Arms, Ammo and Explosives, and Nuclear Weapons Related Material. You will receive and stow materials and supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring that materials are segregated but hazard types with Safety Data Sheets attached. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
