Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Manufacturing Engineering Technician - Lab Tech opening for our client in Albany, NY.

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 12+ months

Duties:

  • Track wafer movement, lot priorities, and process inhibitors for research and development programs.

  • Monitor and report progress of key deliverable hardware to ensure desired outcomes.

  • Drive timely disposition of lots and resolve engineering holds.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational and quality improvements.

  • Act as a liaison between process integration, unit process, and operations teams to address wafer movement issues.

  • Perform wafer pickups and drop-offs in compliance with business protocols.

  • Conduct inline wafer inspections as needed.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.

  • Hands-on experience in a semiconductor fab environment (1+ year preferred).

  • Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) for managing process routes and data collection.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

  • 1+ year of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related field.

  • Proven track record of managing workflows and improving operational processes.

Education:

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in semiconductor processes or manufacturing are a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
