DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : -Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor-Spreading daily cover using a Dozer-Excavating soil using a excavator-Maintaining haul roads using a grader-Hauling soil-Work in a fast paced, team environment-Follow safe operating practices-Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: -Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.-The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Valid drivers license.-Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.-2 years of experience preferred.
