Join Serco as a Fleet Mechanic II in Louisville, KY!

In this role, you will:
- Operate automotive, construction and material handling equipment, hydraulic systems, aerial platform inspection and repair.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems.
- Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
- Perform DOT inspections and manufacturer suggested servicing.
- Diagnose and repair after-treatment systems.
- Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
- Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least 2-5 years of related experience
High school diploma or its equivalent
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Must be computer literate
Must be able to effectively communicate with customers
Must possess necessary skills to operate and interpret diagnostic equipment
Must have welding experience
Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
CDL license or be able to obtain within 12 months of hire.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Diesel vocational/technical school certifications
ASE Certifications preferred or capable of gaining certifications
Hydraulic experience preferred
Current Ford and or Cummins certifications desired and will increase base pay
