Waste Connections of Arkansas is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to work on our fleet of trucks in Heber Springs , AR . In this position you will be performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks. Ideal candidate will have strong diagnosis skills, experience with internal engine repair, road call, and leadership experience.
9:00 a.m. start time, working Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday's, working 10-12 hour days.
We offer family benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, vacation and year-round OT.
Starting Pay is $18/hr.
Monthly tool allowance of $150. On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, weekly pay and vacation.
The ideal candidate will possess:
2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair.
Must have your own tools.
