We have an exciting internship opportunity to join our Lean Deployment group for Building Construction Product (BCP) team in our Cary, North Carolina facility! The team has the responsibility to develop operational reporting across 11 plants around the globe. The internship role would include developing operational reports and tools working within multiple databases (Snowflake and more).
Summer 2024 Corporate Intern Session: May 13, 2024 - August 2, 2024
This is a 40 hour per week assignment, lasting 12 weeks.
Compensation and Benefits:
At Caterpillar, our internship pay rates are standardized for Digital and Analytics roles and we take into account the number of completed semester credit hours. For Graduate level opportunities, the pay rate is determined by the type of degree you are pursuing (Master's or Doctorate) post receiving an undergraduate degree.
Intern Pay Range:
Undergraduate: $22.60 - $29.50 per hour
Graduate: $33.90 - $40.70 per hour

Basic qualifications:
Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science/Analytics, Data Visualization, Marketing Analytics, Math, Stats, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related degree
Expected graduation date of August 2024 and beyond
Minimum cumulative GPA requirement 3.0/ 4.0 (no rounding)
Must be able/willing to relocate to internship location
Top Candidates will also have:
Demonstrated experience with several of the following: Power App, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Python, Data Flows and visualization
Demonstrated leadership experience
Previous technical internship, co-op, or research/relevant experience
Participation in school clubs or student organizations
Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and intellectual curiosity
Able to work independently or as a collaborative team member
Ability to learn and comply with company policies and procedures
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where digital is still evolving as a core offering
Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-orientated environment
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
