Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will interpret and analyze statistical data within multi-data systems for material management, physical distribution, inventory management, and requisitioning service. You will interface with inventory management, outfitting, technical or purchasing personnel in order to provide assistance with supply activities. You will coordinate the replenishment of consumable items and adhere to policy related to metrics reporting and financial accountability. You will establish consumable inventory level and execute replenishment and inventory balancing of consumable and repairable materials. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying logistical management concepts and techniques related to warehousing transportation, fleet management, supply and logistic planning in order to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity to support consumable inventory level. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Providing oversight and corrective action by researching alternate material, reporting any issues regarding improper/incorrect dues calculation;2) Assisting in determining causes for discrepancies involving accountability, ordering, tracking, shipment and receipt control;3) Using inventory computer systems and complex data relationships such as Enterprise Resource Program, Statistical Analytical Software to ensure systems programs are in accordance with desired command/customer goals;4) Resolving complex supply problems by analyzing information and data.. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
