Waste Connections has an opening for a Diesel Mechanic in Shreveport, LA. In this position you will be doing DOT Inspections, preventative maintenance, engine diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical work on our fleet of garbage trucks. Experience with engine repairs and road calls is a plus.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 5:00pm and once a month on Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm.
We offer benefits, 401k match, vacation and year round work with year round OT. $150 m onthly tool allowance.
Job Requirements:
1-2+ years of experience as a heavy truck mechanic
Must have own tools
