Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician within NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville. Responsibilities You will process receipt documents of Stock, Direct Turn Over, and Material Turned into Stock through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System in accordance with procedures. You will perform a broad range of standard receiving assignments and verify shipments by checking shipping documents. You will conduct extensive and exhaustive database searches to retrieve and use data in response to various questions or issues. You will utilize safety practices and procedures and comply with established safety rules and regulations to perform material handling duties, including the use of tools and equipment. You will prepare reports reflecting findings and corrective actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of supply system policies, programs, and procedures, involving receipt, transfer, storage, transportation, and handling of material. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Completing documents indicating stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing stock; 2) Preparing reports reflecting findings and reviewing records for accuracy; 3) Conducting extensive database searches to retrieve and analyze data, as well as resolve data discrepancies; 4) Utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) to process receipt documents for Stock, Direct Turn Over, and Material Turned into Stock in accordance with established procedures; and 5) Reviewing, researching, and resolving reports of non-deliveries, losses, damages, discrepancies, and computer generated rejects.
