Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist in the Navy Household Goods (HHG) Personal Property Shipping Office of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.75% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Responsibilities You will develop and implement procedures, policies and guidelines for counseling, shipment management and vendor management operations that maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will provide technical advice and support to subordinates, and recommendations for actions on more complex issues to upper management. You will research and resolve more complex, non-routine issues/problems that cannot be handled by subordinates. You will analyze workload data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency/customer satisfaction. You will provide entitlement counseling and quality control services along with shipment and storage management services to military and civilian service members incident to movement of household goods. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Traffic Management Specialist experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a thorough knowledge of a wide range of traffic management and transportation policies, principles, and methodology related to personal property shipment management including household goods entitlements and personal property counseling. I have experience developing procedures, policies and guidelines for counseling, shipment management and vendor management operations that maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. I also have experience providing technical advice and support to subordinates. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Research and resolve more complex, non-routine issues/problems related to traffic management; 2) Analyze workload data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency/customer satisfaction; and 3) Provide entitlement counseling and quality control services along with shipment and storage management services to military and civilian service members incident to movement of household goods. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. GS-11 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
